Delete your account
You can delete your CalendAIr account and the data belonging to it at any time. There are two ways.
In the app (fastest)
- Open CalendAIr and go to Profile.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Confirm. Your sign-in is disabled immediately.
By email (no app needed)
Write to support@calendair.de from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my CalendAIr account”. We will confirm and carry out the deletion. If you sign in with Apple and use a private relay address, please write from that relay address so we can match your account. We may ask one question to verify it is your account, and nothing more.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, profile picture URL, language, and your user ID.
- Your calendar connection: the encrypted Google and Outlook refresh tokens and the encrypted iCloud credentials are removed straight away, so our access to your calendar ends at that moment.
- Your connections to other users, your invite codes, and your push notification tokens.
- Your subscription status in our database, and the feedback you sent us.
Timing, and what stays for a while
- Your profile is anonymised immediately and the record is removed after about 90 days.
- Meetings you created stay visible to the other participants until they expire, which is about 21 days after the meeting ends, and at most 90 days.
- Technical logs, including the scheduling requests you typed, are deleted after about 30 days.
- Where the law requires us to keep records (for example for tax), we keep only what the law requires.
Two things deletion does not do
- It does not remove events from your calendar. Meetings that were already written to Google, Outlook, or iCloud stay in that calendar. Delete them there if you want them gone.
- It does not cancel a paid subscription. Manage or cancel Premium in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. We cannot do that for you.
